Projeto Ipanema . Rio de Janeiro . RJ

Characteristics: Living, TV and dining room arrangements in a 200m2 area.

Client Profile: This project began with a conversation some years ago, the residents were living in a smaller apartment when we started to consider new possibilities based on the couple lifestyle. Young and independent “cariocas” since early age, both had individual overseas experiences, which is reflected in the richness of their paintings and art pieces brought from their journeys. Rio’s environment raised the project’s atmosphere: a little bit minimalist and colored with refinement and description. The furniture has been quite valued and makes itself present since the memory of Sergio Rodrigues until the contemporaneity of Jader Almeida. Wood, natural fibers and soft prints delivers the composition of the rooms. Dashes of boldness are at the description of floor lamp “Birdie” by Ingo Maurer, photograph printed in methacrylate by Laurent Chehere and exclusive prints from dhurrie rugs.

Partners:

Arquivo Contemporâneo: Living and TV room’s couches, dining table, “Mole” armchair
